We also took information from other sources to help us understand the views of patients who used the service, which included a patient satisfaction survey and staff meeting minutes.
The patients we spoke with told us they thought they received good dental treatment from the dentists. One patient told us 'I trust this dentist and I am happy here'. Another patient told us 'I've been coming here for 25 years. I still come back, even though I have moved further away'.
The practice was following appropriate guidance in relation to infection control and the staff were well trained and supported. A member of staff we spoke with told us 'We have really good systems here, we're really hot on infection control'.
We also saw that the practice had quality assurance systems in place to monitor the quality of the service provided, and to gain the views of the patients.
