During a routine inspection
We found patients were treated with respect. Children were spoken with as individuals and fully involved in discussions relating to their course of treatment. Treatment plans were explained in way that could be understood and patients had opportunities to discuss any concerns or ask any questions.
The practice had systems in place to be able to respond to any emergency that may have arisen.
The practice had policies and procedures in place to help staff understand, recognise and deal with any child or adult safeguarding concerns they may have had. Training in safeguarding adults and children was also provided.
There were appropriate procedures in place to protect patients from the risk of infection
Staff working at the practice had received appropriate professional development and training and were able to obtain further relevant qualifications.
