During a routine inspection
Patients we spoke with told they were well informed about their treatment and involved in their treatment decisions. Staff understood their legal responsibilities and obligations for enabling patient consent.
Staff told us they enjoyed working at the practice. The provider had processes in place to support staff effectively in their role. Staff attended essential training such as basic life support and safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. Staff had maintained their continuing professional development activities to meet the requirements of the General Dental Council.
The provider had a system which ensured patients' views on the service were listened and responded to. Patients told us they had confidence the dentist would manage their dental treatment concerns appropriately and would not hesitate to speak with the provider if they had a complaint.
Patients requiring further treatment or investigation were promptly and appropriately referred.
