During a routine inspection
We spoke with people who used the service who told us that staff listened to their views and ensured they were fully involved with their treatment. One person told us, 'The dentist always asks me if there have been any changes in my medical history and if I have been experiencing any problems'.
People we spoke with told us that staff made them feel comfortable and at ease when they visited the service. Staff we spoke with told us the actions they took to reassure people who were anxious. One staff member told us, 'I always make sure people who are nervous have plenty of time and know exactly what I am doing'.
The provider had systems in place to ensure that suitable and skilled staff were employed at the service. Appropriate checks had been undertaken to ensure that staff were suitable to support vulnerable people.
Staff we spoke with told us that they had received an induction before they provided support to people and they felt supported by the provider.
We found that the provider had appropriate systems in place to deal with complaints.
