During a routine inspection
All of the patients we spoke with were very happy with the dental treatment they received. One patient told us "Neel [the dentist] explains everything to me. I can chat to him and ask him questions. He's the best dentist I've ever had". Another patient said 'everyone is really friendly. It's a high standard and a really well run practice'. We looked at treatment plans that showed us patients were given a full description of their dental treatment and that consent to treatment had been obtained.
Patients we spoke with told us the practice was always clean and tidy; 'I think it's superb'. The practice operated processes, and followed procedures, that minimised the risk and spread of infection because current guidelines were followed.
Staff told us they were supported to carry out their roles. We saw that staff received training specific to their job and that they received an annual review of their performance.
The practice had systems in place to regularly seek and act on patient feedback and carried out audits to monitor clinical quality.
