Well-led
The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken. Staff gathered feedback from patients, the public and external partners and demonstrated a commitment to acting on feedback.

Governance, management and sustainability
At the assessment on 15 August 2024, we found the practice had made the following improvements to comply with the regulation: Staff and leaders told us of the systems in place to manage risks for patients, staff, equipment and the premises. The practice had systems for the safe handling and prescribing of medicines. NHS prescription pads were kept securely, and a log was in place to monitor and track their use. We have received no evidence that antimicrobial prescribing audits have been carried out. The practice ensured all equipment was safe to use, maintained and serviced according to manufacturers’ instructions. An outstanding action regarding changing a safety value in the compressor was completed on 22 February 2024.
Staff had carried out a disability access audit on 7 March 2024, and had formulated an action plan to continually improve access for patients. Clinical staff were qualified, registered with the General Dental Council and all employed staff had professional indemnity cover. In February 2024, we noted that the visiting implantologist did not have evidence of the correct indemnity to allow them to place implants. The practice has since told us on 13 August 2024, that this member of staff no longer visits or works at the practice. The practice had also made the following improvements: A fire safety risk assessment was carried out in line with the legal requirements on 29 February 2024. The management of fire safety was now effective. The practice had arrangements to ensure staff training was up-to-date and reviewed at the required intervals.
