To help us understand the experiences of people used the service, we spoke with people who had attended the surgery at the time of our inspection. We spoke with people in private at the practice address. Everyone we spoke with said that they were treated with respect. They said they signed to say they agreed with the treatment and that they had their treatment options and costs explained to them so they could make informed decisions about dental care and treatment. Comments included "The dentist fully explained my care and treatment plan, in detail, before I signed the consent." Another said "He is the best dentist I have ever had, he has transformed my teeth.' People told us they did not have to wait too long for appointments and that they were welcomed in a friendly manner.
People commented to us that they thought the surgery and practice building were clean. One person said "It (the surgery) is clean."
People told us they were confident that the dentists and their teams were well qualified and they had appropriate skills.
People told us that they had not had any need to complain; but if they needed to they would speak either to the dentist or the practice manager.
