Updated 10 June 2024
We carried out this on-site announced assessment on 5 November 2024. We found the practice had met all the regulations. Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement. Patients were treated with dignity and respect and at the time of our assessment, could access care, support and treatment when required. Patients’ care and treatment was provided in line with current guidance and infection control procedures were in place. The practice had systems to manage risks. The practice is in Rotherhithe in the London borough of Southwark and provides NHS and a small provision of private dental care and treatment for adults and children. There was a small step at the entrance and the practice had a portable ramp to provide access to wheelchair users and those with prams.ng spaces, including dedicated parking for disabled people, were available near the practice. The practice had 2 treatment rooms. During the assessment we spoke with the principal dentist, 1 dental nurse, 1 dental hygienist, the receptionist, the finance manager and the practice manager.
