During a routine inspection
People we spoke with were very satisfied that they had received appropriate care, treatment and support. Comments included 'I've never had any troubles, they've always been really good'. Staff had been given appropriate training to allow them to carry out their roles effectively. They had also undergone appropriate checks before they started work, to protect people against staff who may not have been suitable to work in their role. Dentists and dental staff had the appropriate professional registrations.
The practice had in place infection prevention and control policies to ensure equipment and the premises were kept clean and hygienic. Staff understood these policies and carried out their jobs in accordance with current infection control guidance.
People we spoke with had not had to raise complaints, but stated they would be happy to do so if the need arose. There was a written complaints procedure available.
