During a routine inspection
We saw from the records that consent was sought from patients appropriately before any treatment began. The records evidenced clear information was provided to patients about treatment options and the various costs involved. Patients told us staff explained the risk and benefits of various treatments and provided details of the expected outcome. We saw patients' medical and dental health needs were accurately documented in their records and updated at each visit.
We saw the practice was clean and hygienic and the staff followed appropriate infection control procedures.
Staff told us they felt well supported by management and were offered appropriate refresher training at regular intervals.
Patients were asked about their views about the service. Complaints and suggestions were listened to and acted upon.
