During a routine inspection
The practice manager told us about a recent safeguarding incident that occurred with an adult. We saw this was handled appropriately and in line with their safeguarding adult policy. This showed the practice knew how to identify; report and respond appropriately to suspected abuse because there were clear procedures for staff to follow.
One staff told us, 'I sent my CV and was asked to attend an interview. Once it was confirmed I was successful, I was helped with everything. Before I signed my contract references were sought and CRB was undertaken.' This showed there effective recruitment and selection processes in place.
Patients fed back on various aspect of the service. The majority said they were seen on time and were happy with the service. This showed the practice sought the views of people who used the service and those acting on their completed behalf and acted on them.
