We spoke with four people who used the service and they all told us that they were 'very happy' with the treatment they received. One person told us that this was one of the best dentists they had been to. They said that staff couldn't be nicer and that they were always treated in a respectful manner by all staff. Staff felt supported by colleagues and the practice manager. We saw that staff had received appropriate training however at the time of our visit staff did not have any personal development plans in place.
Although people we spoke with were happy with the service, at the time of our inspection the provider did not have an effective system in place to regularly assess and monitor the quality of their service.
We found that people were involved in treatment planning and making decisions about their dental care. People told us that they received enough information about their treatment and they could always ask for an additional explanation if necessary.
We found the practice was clean and tidy. Infection control policies were followed and personal protective equipment was used appropriately by staff.
