During a routine inspection

On inspection we found a warm and friendly environment with a welcoming staff where each person is respected and made to feel at ease through the full explaining of any treatment needed and the options available to them. The surgery is clean and all steps have been taken to ensure the risk of infection is minimised.

Full written consent is sought before treatment commences and this is followed up by requesting verbal consent before treatment starts.

All staff have been trained in safeguarding procedures and display a good knowledge of the subject. This is backed up by a comprehensive practice safeguarding policy and procedure.

Records are kept securely and handled in a confidential manner.

The practice has a full complaints policy and this is publicised within the practice to ensure people are aware of the steps they can take if they wish to raise a complaint with the practice.
