During a routine inspection
Patients we spoke with told us that they felt they were fully involved in their care and treatment. One patient told us, "The nurse and the dentist I see are very good at putting me at ease. They explain everything clearly."
We observed that every area of the premises was clean during our visit. One patient told us, "It's always clean here and I've seen that instruments are opened from sealed bags." We saw the staff cleaning and sterilizing instruments and using the specialist machines for this purpose.
Patients commented about the staff, "They're all very friendly" and "All the staff are very nice and helpful." The staff had received a wide range of training that helped them improve and maintain the standard of care delivered to patients. They told us they felt well supported in their work.
There were effective systems to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that patients received and regular feedback forms were in use. One patient told us, "I'm happy in all respects with the service I receive here." Another patient said, "They all listen here and that's important."
