During a routine inspection
We spoke with five people who had attended the practice. They all spoke positively about the quality of the service they had received. One person told us, "They always give me an appointment at a time that suits me.' Another person described an occasion when the dentist had provided emergency dental treatment at 9.30pm on Christmas Eve.
We saw the dentist undertook an assessment of people's needs before discussing treatment options with them. People we spoke with told us that everything was always explained to them. One person told us, 'The dentist always takes time to explain exactly what he is going to do.'
During our visit we saw the practice was clean and tidy. Processes were in place to ensure that equipment was safe to use and high levels of cleanliness maintained.
People described the practice as being very friendly. One person told us they had been a patient of the dentist for over 25 years. Another said, 'In my opinion it's an excellent dentist, I wouldn't go anywhere else'
The practice had processes in place to monitor people's views about the service offered. People told us that they had never had cause to complain about the service they had received.
