During a routine inspection
People told us they felt respected by staff and were fully involved in the decisions about their dental care and treatment. When we asked if they would recommend the service to others, one person replied, 'Yes, without a doubt and I have on many occasions.'
Where people paid for their NHS treatment they told us that they were aware of what treatments were included under the NHS.
Following information we received through our website, which raised concerns over the standard of cleanliness and unpleasant odours, our visit to the service was unannounced. We observed that the reception and clinical areas were clean and odour free. We asked people if they always found it to be of the same standard. They told us it did. One person described the standard as, 'Impeccable.' Another person told us, 'I can't say I have ever found it to be smelly or dirty.'
