During a routine inspection

Bourne Dental Practice is located in the market town of Bourne in Lincolnshire. The patients are mainly NHS and the surgery works with the local Primary Care Trust (PCT) who allocates patients to them from an NHS waiting list. The practice has 10 dentists, 15 nurses and two dental hygienists.

We spoke with five members of staff, two dentists and four patients who were visiting the service at the time of our inspection.

One patient we spoke with told us, 'The dentist knows his job and I have faith in him.' Another person who was there with their spouse said, 'We go in together, the dentist is always very nice.'
