Patients told us that their treatment and options were explained to them, including risks and costs. One patient told us, "We've discussed the treatment needed and I've been fully involved in making the decision about my treatment."Patient treatment records that we reviewed included a copy of the patient's treatment plan which detailed what a patient could expect at each appointment. Patient satisfaction surveys we reviewed regarding the service indicated that patients thought that the service they received was, 'Excellent.'
The practice had effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection, although the environment of the surgery did not always meet the requirements to reduce the risk of infection.
Appropriate checks were carried out before staff began work.
