During a routine inspection
Patients felt their privacy and dignity was maintained and felt involved in the decision making around their care and treatment. Treatment options were explained. One patient said 'the dentist is very good at explaining everything, she tells me what's happening and that's what I like.'
Patients' needs were assessed and care and treatment was planned and delivered in line with their individual care plan. Arrangements were in place to deal with medical emergencies.
Systems were in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection, including staff training and policies and procedures. The practice regularly assessed and monitored the quality of services provided and addressed any issues identified.
