During a routine inspection
One person we spoke to said "The Dr is perfect, I have told my friends to come." Another person said to us they liked that the practice sent reminders via text message which helped them remember to come for their appointments.
The dentist and all other staff respected people's privacy and they had staff at the surgery who could speak other languages so as to involve people at the practice.
Staff knew their safeguarding procedures and how to respond and escalate an allegation of abuse against a patient and where they had suspicions the actions they would follow.
Staff were supported and we saw evidence staff went on training, were appraised and met regularly as a team to discuss matters.
The surgery was clean and hygienic and people said to us "It is clean, I am very happy there." The surgery had clear policies for infection control and the decontamination of instruments which the dental nurse followed.
