During a routine inspection

We received positive comments from people using the service about how they had been included and consulted about their treatment and how they had been given clear information about the choices they had made. They told us they had been treated with respect by all the staff whenever they had visited the surgery and staff had always been polite to them. One person said, "The dentist always explains to me what they are doing and they tell me everything I want to know. I can ask them lots of questions and they always tell me everything".

Several of the people we spoke with told us they had travelled some distance to attend the surgery. One person said, 'I would not change to another orthodontist because this dentist is really good and I can arrange appointments very easily and at short notice."

All of the people who use the service and parents who we spoke with told us they valued the continuity of care that was provided by the one dentist employed at the practice.
