During a routine inspection
We observed that care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare. A patient told us; 'The staff are very friendly and professional'.
People who use the service were protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening.
There were arrangements in place to deal with foreseeable emergencies and effective infection control systems were maintained to reduce the risk and spread of infection.
There were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet people's needs. A patient told us they felt the surgery ran smoothly and the staff were good.
The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people receive. Results from the 2012 patient satisfaction audit indicated satisfaction. One comment made by a patient included; "Friendly, very efficient. I have always been seen immediately when I have had problems with my teeth'.
