We found that the provider had implemented proper infection control procedures and had put systems in place to ensure that staff are supported to deliver safe and effective dental care and treatments.

There were no patients at the practice for us to speak with during our inspection. However, we looked at the provider's patient satisfaction survey in order to obtain their views.

The practice was given a high rating for short waiting times before being offered an appointment and also on the range of treatments available. The availability of emergency appointments was praised, as was the up-to-date technology in use in the surgery.

However, feedback showed that same-day emergency appointments were mostly responsible for patients experiencing delays. To address this, the provider had employed an extra dental surgeon.

We found that improvements were required in decontamination and supporting staff.
