During a routine inspection
People were treated in a clean environment and arrangements were in place for the safe decontamination of reusable instruments and equipment. We spoke to three people who used the service; they all said they regularly saw staff making sure that the surgery was clean, tidy and hygienic.
People who used the service were aware how they could raise any concerns and suitable arrangements were in place to respond to any complaints. None of the people spoken with had any concerns about the service.
We looked at staff records and saw evidence that all staff had been professionally trained to the level their positions required and that they had completed training in other appropriate courses, relative to their role.
The provider had systems in place for gathering, recording and evaluating information about the quality and safety of care the service provides. People who used the service and their representatives were asked for their views about their care and treatment.
