During a routine inspection
People we spoke with told us that proposed treatment plans were always explained and discussed, including choices and options about suitable treatments. One person told us 'it was very informative; everything was explained in detail'.
People said that staff were always helpful and ready to explain the treatment and answer any questions they had. One person said 'we felt comfortable and they gave us confidence'.
We found that oral health care advice was provided by the practice and patients' medical information was kept up-to-date. One person told us 'they devoted time in explaining the importance of cleaning teeth properly'.
We found that the practice had arrangements in place to protect patients' welfare and safety and people told us that the practice was always clean, and that they had no concerns regarding cross infection.
We found that arrangements were in place to monitor the quality and safety of the service that the practice provided.
