During a routine inspection
People told us they were treated well and they were happy with the service provided.
People told us that the practice was always clean when they attended. They told us that staff regularly washed their hands and always wore gloves and other protective equipment when they were being treated. We looked around the dental practice and found that everywhere appeared generally clean. We looked at three treatment rooms and saw there were some areas that needed attention.
We spoke to three members of staff in detail about their recruitment and induction. They said that the training and induction process was effective and detailed.
We saw that the provider had a detailed and appropriate complaints policy. We were told by the manager that staff are encouraged to deal with complaints to the satisfaction of the complainant. Staff confirmed that they tried to resolve any complaints themselves, if they could not they escalated the matter to the manager.
