During a routine inspection
People told us "I love it here".
Staff told us "If people need anything they get it".
Professionals told us " I have been visiting this home for a long time. People here are happy, they are so well cared for".
We reviewed a range of care records available that were in place to support people and staff to ensure people's health needs were met.
We reviewed how people's nutritional needs were being supported and found choice was available and that people were involved in menu planning and individual needs were considered.
We reviewed safeguarding policies, training and processes. We spoke with people and staff at the home. We found processes in place to safeguard people living at the home.
We assessed the safety and suitability of the premises, associated documentation and quality assurance processes. We were satisfied that procedures were in place to support people living at the home to be safe.
We spoke with staff, reviewed staffing levels and looked at recruitment and training processes in place at the home. We found records to be comprehensive and up to date. We found that staff were supported to complete mandatory training and were supported in undertaking further training to support people living at the home.
