During a routine inspection
Patients were treated with respect and with regard to their privacy. We saw patients being greeted politely and professionally. One patient we spoke with said "they (the reception staff) recognise who I am, it always gives me a good feeling".
All of the patients we spoke with were very happy with the dental treatment they received. One patient told us "I have a 45 minute drive to this practice but I'm prepared to do that because I like the professional service".
Patients we spoke with told us the practice was always clean and tidy. The practice operated processes, and followed procedures, that minimised the risk and spread of infection because current guidelines were followed.
Staff told us they were supported to carry out their roles. We saw that staff received training specific to their job and that they received an annual review of their performance. One member of staff said "We're one team. Everybody's together. It's a nice place to work".
The practice had systems in place to seek and act on patient feedback and carried out audits to monitor clinical quality
