During a routine inspection
We looked at records kept by the service and found these contained detailed information about peoples mobility and transfer needs. We found guidance and instructions had been made available to staff on the prevention and control of infection and how to maintain the cleanliness of the ambulances. We checked equipment used by the service and saw this was regularly checked and maintained for safety. Staff received training to keep their skills and knowledge up to date. There were systems in place to regularly monitor and assess the quality of service provided.
