During a routine inspection
We received many positive comments about the care and treatment people had received. For example, 'You get what you pay for and here I have got exactly what I paid for. Good quality service from very nice people' and 'they make you feel welcome from the minute you walk through the door. It is like being a part of a family, they are so good at taking time to listen to you and making you feel at ease.'
People were cared for in a clean, hygienic environment. We had a tour of the service and found all areas to be very clean and hygienic. We also spoke with three people using the service and a relative who all told us they thought the practice was clean. One person said, 'It is spotless, very clean' and another said, 'I have found everywhere to be clean whenever I come here.'
One person told us they had received treatment elsewhere for a number of years without the outcome they hoped to achieve. They told us, 'the people here knew what the problem was within five minutes and were able to suggest what options were available. I am so grateful to them for taking me on and listening to me.'
People we spoke with told us they had received a business card to enable them to contact the registered manager if they had any concerns. None of the people we spoke with had felt the need to do this as they had not had any concerns.
