During a routine inspection
People received care that ensured their safety and welfare. They were treated by qualified staff who had been appropriately recruited in a clean, hygienic environment. Medical histories were taken and reviewed by their dentist to ensure that all treatment was safe. People were protected from the risk of infection because appropriate guidance had been followed. There were systems in place to deal with medical emergencies and all staff had received basic life support training.
There were systems in place to monitor the quality of service provided. Feedback was collected from people and any negative comments or complaints were investigated. Staff meetings took place monthly and a programme of audit was ongoing.
