During a routine inspection
People said that the dentist explained their treatment clearly. They felt able to ask questions about their treatment and knew what to expect. One person told us,' The dentist explained the immediate treatment I needed and outlined additional work that would be necessary.' People told us they were given clear information about the cost of treatment before agreeing to go ahead.
There were suitable safeguarding and emergency arrangements in place in order to ensure patient safety.
The dental practice was visibly clean and provided a welcoming and pleasant environment to be treated in. One person said, 'The clinic looks immaculate. It's cleaner than any other practice I've ever been to.' There were effective decontamination processes in place to prevent and control infection.
Staff were properly supported in relation to their responsibilities to provide treatment to people who use the service safely and to an appropriate standard.
