During a routine inspection
Patients told us they were involved in their care and treatment decisions and they were given good information about their care and treatment. A patient told us 'The dentist is very precise and the information I get is easy to understand.' Another patient told us 'My dentist talks me through what is happening.'
Patients told us that the practice environment and equipment was always clean. On the day of our visit we found that the all of the treatment areas appeared clean and well organised. Staff followed the national standards for controlling infection to ensure that patients' safety was maintained.
Patients told us that they had confidence in their dentists and they felt that their treatment was good. Two of the four patients that we spoke with said the dentists were particularly good with their children.
We saw that staff had completed relevant training and there was an effective system in place to monitor the quality of care. This included managing complaints effectively.
