During a routine inspection
'We were not pressured into anything and told if any concerns to ring up.'
'The staff are really nice and all really kind.'
'I was really petrified but they put me at ease and let me know what was happening.'
'I think they provide an excellent service. They are always on time with the appointment.'
'I got a choice of colours for my brace.'
In the four patient records we looked at, we saw evidence that information about the people who used the service, such as medical history and allergies had been completed in all records. We saw the notes contained detailed information about the findings of people's treatments and attendances .
The lead member of staff for decontamination and infection prevention explained the decontamination process. There was a room dedicated to carrying out decontamination with a clear dirty to clean route through the room.
The staff files demonstrated that members of staff had undergone continuous professional development as required by their professional body. This meant staff kept up to date with their clinical practice.
The provider had systems in place to identify, analyse and review risks and incidents.
Information about quality and safety was gathered and monitored to identify risks and areas for improvement.
