During a routine inspection
The patients we spoke with were very complimentary about the way staff interacted with them and the treatment they received. One patient told us, 'I've had three dentists and this is by far the best.' They all told us dentists involved them in discussions about their treatment options.
Patients told us they consented to any treatment they had before it was undertaken and were told how much it was going to cost.
The practice had systems and practices in place to reduce the risk of infection. One patient told us, 'It's very clean here. They all wear face masks and gloves and they wash their hands.'
Patients told us they felt staff knew what they were doing and had confidence in their abilities. One patient told us, 'I'm always happy to come back.' Staff felt supported to give good quality care.
We saw patients were asked for their views and comments about the service. There were systems in place to make sure risks to patients were identified and managed effectively.
