During a routine inspection
The dentists ensured that people who use the service were clear about their treatment options and that they were involved and consulted at every stage. One person using the service told us 'The dentist explains everything what needs to be done and what is involved'. We looked at the records of people that use the service and found these contained detailed information about the treatment they had received. We also saw that people had consented to an examination and assessment each time they visited the practice.
There were effective quality assurance and quality monitoring systems in place; these were used to seek the views of people using the service and to measure success in meeting the aims, objectives and statement of purpose of the practice.
We were able to see the results from the latest patient satisfaction survey which showed that people who responded to the survey were satisfied with the service they received.
