During a routine inspection
Treatment plans were drawn up to meet the person's needs. A medical history was taken and appropriate information about medication or allergies was documented. Staff had received training in dealing with medical emergencies and emergency equipment was available.
There was an infection control policy. Staff gave a demonstration of the decontamination process which was in line with their policy. On the day of the visit the surgery was clean and well maintained. Staff wore appropriate protective clothing while treating people.
Records were stored appropriately. There was an information security policy in place that outlined how they held data.
