During a routine inspection
We found that people care plan were comprehensive and staff had set instructions for delivering care tailored for individual person. This was confirmed from the people we spoke with and we found that care plan available at the people residence to be compatible with the one held at the agency. This ensured that people were receiving the appropriate care and treatment as contracted. We saw evidence of staff having entered relevant information and observation in people's record book that were followed up by the staff team.
We saw evidence of survey carried out by the agency and as well minutes of quarterly monitoring meeting from West Sussex Adults Services Commissioners. The outcomes were positive and there were no contentious issues to be addressed.
We found that the provider had a thorough recruitment procedure in place and staff were suitable and competent to carry out their duty.
We found that the provider had an effective system in place to deal with people's complaints and comments.
