During a routine inspection
We spoke with three people who had used the service on the day of our inspection. They told us they were happy with the service and would recommend it to other people. One person told us, 'The dentist helped me in an emergency and I have been here ever since.' Another person told us 'The staff are friendly and helpful.'
The service had two fully equipped surgeries provided on one floor and was wheelchair accessible.
We spoke with four staff and they were all aware from their training about treating people with dignity and respect, obtaining consent and of the safeguarding procedure for children and vulnerable adults. There was a complaints procedure in place along with surveys and a suggestion box available in reception. The service supported its staff through training, staff meetings and an appraisal system.
We found all staff mandatory training was up to date so staff had the necessary skills to meet people's needs.
