Date of assessment 23 April 2024 to 9 May 2024. Oakfield at Yardley Hastings is a is a residential care and supported living service providing personal care for people with learning disabilities and autism. This assessment was for the supported living element of the service only. We expect health and social care providers to guarantee people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices and independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ is the guidance CQC follows to make assessments and judgements about services supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people and providers must have regard to it. At the time of our assessment there were 11 people using the supported living service. As part of our assessment activity, we undertook on-site visits on 23, 29 and 30 April 2024. This assessment was prompted by information we held about this service. We assessed a total of 9 quality statements from the safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led key questions. The scores for these areas have been combined with scores based on the key question ratings from the last inspection, which was good.
