During a routine inspection
People we spoke with, that used the service, gave many positive comments about the carers and the service they received. We saw evidence and people told us that they were asked to sign consent forms, which showed that people understood their care and had seen the plan. We saw that people had personalised care plans which recorded individual needs and choices with relevant risk assessments to support them. One person told us, 'The staff write in my care plan each time they call at my house and the senior staff call to check them from time to time. I prefer it when they send the regular girls, but I know they try to avoid it'.
We looked at the agency's medication administration and spoke to staff about their responsibilities. We spoke with staff who told us, 'I am happy working for the agency; I am well supported by the staff team and receive sufficient training'.
We saw evidence that the agency monitor the quality of the service delivered.
