Governance, management and sustainability

Regular checks and audits were completed and actions were added to the service improvement plan to ensure there was continuous improvement.

The registered manager told us how the staff team work together to ensure people receive the best outcomes. Surveys had been completed recently; these praised the staff and management for the care provided. Comments included, “We have every confidence in the home and feel it is very well led” and “The quality of care is first class.” The service had received a South West Manager’s Network Award for Health and Wellbeing. The registered manager told us they had good relationships with other professionals; they shared information and best practice. There had been a number of improvements to the environment and further work was planned.
