During a routine inspection
We spoke with two staff members who confirmed that staffing levels were very good. Staff told us "We have good staffing levels and a lovely team of staff' and 'Staffing is really good the manager ensures that shifts get covered so calls are not missed'.
People were given support by the provider to make a comment or complaint where they needed assistance. We asked people what they would do if they were unhappy with the service they received and wanted to make a complaint. People told us "I would ring the office and talk to the manager who is very approachable' and 'If I was unhappy I would tell the staff that visit me or ring the office'.
We spoke with two care workers and they told us that they had received training in safeguarding vulnerable adults (SOVA), yearly and that safeguarding topics were discussed regularly. Staff told us 'If I suspected abuse I would report this straight away to the manager or would contact the local authority myself'.
