Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
1. Within 30 days of this condition coming into effect you must devise and implement an
effective system to ensure that all records relating to “Infection prevention and control,
missed and late care calls, staff recruitment, medication administration records, staff
training and competency checks, complaint investigations and person centred care”
occurring at Regional Care Peterborough are reviewed and analysed within a reasonable
period.
3. Within 30 days of this condition coming into effect, the registered person must submit to the Care Quality Commission a copy of a written record of training undertaken by all care staff working from Regional Care Peterborough, to include name of staff member, date of training, nature of training, name of training provider, and post-training competence checks.
2. Within 30 days of this condition coming into effect, the registered person must review
care plans and risk assessments and take action to ensure they are accurate, complete
and dignified and respectful language is used in every care plan record.
4. Then on the first day of every month thereafter the registered provider must provide the Care Quality Commission with a written report to CQC demonstrating;
• What action you have taken to prevent and control infections, including complying with government guidance regarding infection prevention and control in adult social care.
• How many missed calls there has been and what action you took in response to each missed call to prevent it from happening again.
• A copy of an audit regarding the management of medication, setting out action taken (or to be taken) as a result of the audit;
• For staff responsible for the administration of medicines what competency assessments for administration of medication have been carried out
• How you have ensured that all staff have completed the training (including refreshers) they require to carry out their role effectively.
• A copy of the recruitment checklist for any newly appointed staff within the last month
• A copy of any complaints received and how you have investigated and responded to them.
• What action you have taken to ensure care plans and risk assessments are current, accurate and complete.
