During a routine inspection
We found that EDICS had developed effective relationships with partner agencies to ensure that patients received their treatment in appropriate premises from appropriately experienced and qualified staff. EDICS had developed systems to monitor the quality of the service patients received and to assess compliance with the service specifications in place with partner agencies. We checked a sample of recruitment records for staff employed by Tattenham Health Centre who worked at the clinics. We found that the practice had not obtained criminal record checks for two staff who provided support to the clinics. This meant that not all staff who had contact with patients had been subject to a criminal record check.
