During a routine inspection
People who used the service told us that they were happy with the care they had received. One person told us, 'The care was good.' A member of staff said, 'Dr X is very good.' We saw records to evidence that people received appropriate assessments before treatment was provided. Staff we spoke with had a good understanding of the treatment process and how they needed to support people. This meant that care and treatment was delivered in a way that ensured the safety and welfare of people.
We saw that the treatment room was clean and there were systems in place to protect people from the risk of infection. Staff were able to explain the measures in place to protect people from the risk of infection.
We observed that the provider kept their clinical records at another location. These records were made available to us within a short period of time. The records we viewed were accurate and contained details that ensured people's care and treatment was safe and appropriate.
