During an inspection looking at part of the service
We saw evidence during this follow up inspection that the provider had taken the necessary action in relation to these two areas of non-compliance.
We saw evidence during this follow up inspection that the provider had taken the necessary action in relation to these two areas of non-compliance.
We saw that patients were spoken to in a kind and considerate manner. We looked at treatment records and saw that patients were asked about their overall health at each appointment they attended. We also observed this during our visit.
We found that staff were trained to identify different forms of abuse against vulnerable adults and children and knew who to contact if they had any concerns. Patients told us that they felt safe at the practice.
The practice was clean and tidy. We found that there were processes in place that reduced the risk of infections. Staff at the practice had an understanding of infection control.
We looked at the practice recruitment processes. We found that the staff files did not have information about why they had left their previous employer.
The practice had systems in place to assess and monitor the quality of the service. This included health and safety audits, environmental audits and equipment testing. However the practice had not undertaken a patient survey since 2011 to gain their views.
