Patients told us that staff asked for their consent and input into the way their care was delivered. We saw that staff helped people with a variety of physical disabilities and reduced cognitive ability to maintain their independence as much as possible.
Patients were cared for in a clean, hygienic environment. People were protected from the risk of infection because appropriate guidance had been followed.
Staff said that they felt supported to provide care in a safe way and to a good standard. They told us that the management of the hospital were approachable with any issues.
