During a routine inspection

People who used the service told us their privacy and dignity was respected. They said their views and experiences were taken into account in the way the service was provided and delivered in relation to their treatment. One person said, 'The dentist who treated me was really good. Discussions took place in private and she was very keen to listen to what I had to say. Yes, I felt I was listened to and involved.'

People experienced care, treatment and support that met their needs and protected their rights. The people we spoke with said they received good support and treatment. The parent of one person said, "The treatment my daughter received was really good. I couldn't have supported her through the dental care she needed without their understanding, help and kindness.'

People were protected from the risk of infection because appropriate guidance had been followed and they received treatment in a clean, hygienic environment. All of the people we spoke with said the Oral Surgery Theatres clinic was clean and hygienic.

People were treated by dental professionals who were suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff.

The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people received.
