During this inspection we talked with the registered manager, a family member (in their homes with their permission) and two people who used the service. People who used the service told us, "I am very happy with the service I get" and "The staff are totally reliable and trustworthy. It can be humiliating to have different care staff when you have a lot of very personal care needs. I know from using another agency before this one. It never happens with Adore. I get the same staff who know me". A relative said, "We swapped to this service because I saw the way they looked after another person. We are very happy with the care and more importantly so is my relative". People we spoke with thought they were provided with a good service. The plans of care were personalised and kept up to date for staff to deliver effective care. People who used the service gave their consent to care and treatment. This meant their wishes were taken into account.
There was an accessible complaints procedure for people to voice any concerns they had.
People were supported to eat and drink sufficient amounts.
Staff were recruited safely and sufficiently well trained to meet the needs of the people they cared for.
